Hello Ladies!
It's a new year! We start shooting season 2 in a couple weeks!, and it's "chlordane" (not to be confused with Claire Danes!) I absolutely have been reading your messages, appreciate all of this,(it's very chat room!) and can't wait for you all to continue to see how talented our WRITERS are. Take Care...

Hello SM-Addicts! I, personally, can't think of a healthier addiction! I have been reading your messages, and laughing along with you all right here from my lovely dressing room, (which used to be a real hospital room for like 35 years! nice! I try and block out the fact that people have probably died in my dressing room!) I THINK (and I could be wrong, but I THINK) the network plans to show re-runs of the first season until we premiere the new episodes for season 2 in July. I am telling you though, as we have been filming second season since early February, it will be worth the wait!!! The writing, the guest stars (and I mean STARS... hello! Mary J. Blidge!!!), suprises, it is going to be a very exciting season to say the least! I don't know much about scheduling, but I know that!
To you top researchers out there, yes, I was supposed to do Politically Incorrect today, but couldn't get out of "Rittenhouse" in time, and it is going to be re-scheduled. I swear, sometimes even I find out things from reading the posted messages!
I am proud to tell you that Saturday night the American Red Cross is honoring the show (in the tradition of such shows as ER, Chicago Hope, Party of Five...) with an award here in Los Angeles. Stay "patient" (isn't it ironic?!?) and again, thank you for your unbelievable support and enthusiasim! Love,
Dr. Lu

Paging all Chat Room DIVAS!!! I think the new season starts Sunday July 15th! I know I should practice modesty, but.....I just watched the 1st episode of the new season this Memorial ay Weekend with my parents, and It's AWESOME! I'll be honest, I figured the writers worked so hard first season that, second season might not be as great. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! Second season, in my opinion is even better! I am really proud of not only how the shows have been turning out, but as I mentioned in a previous post, I am BLOWN AWAY by who shows up on this set week after week to guest star! Terri Garr worked on the show last week, and I was trying to be cool and not stare! Anyway, I have been reading your questions, and I don't even know some of those answers, but wanted you die hards, to know you truly have something to look forward to, and when. Thanks for being so awesome!
Oh, and Brennan (Dr. Nick) did post, that WAS him, I asked.
See you soon!
Love,

Hello! I think Rosa's hair looks FABULOUS! (ha-ha!) I am so glad you guys are enjoying the start of our second season! Just wait......! This coming episode you all get a really special treat, and I am not going to give it away , but it is a really unique episode. And we got Mary J. Blidge!
PANIC CONTROL UPDATE!!! Yes, Chris is on another new series, because he is ridiculously talented, but NO he is not off the show. I have threatened him, and he knows he is not to go anywhere. Or else.
What else? we have had a little hiatus break in the shooting schedule, and go back to work mid August. I have spent some time with Jennifer Lewis, and her newly adopted beautiful 13 year old daughter, whom she met as a voulunteer "big sister" in the "big brother/big sister program". How cool is that?
On a more somber note, I just went down to Tijuana, Mexico with actress Sharon Lawrence, and some other friends to volunteer at an orphanage down there. It was to date, the most heart breaking experience I have ever had, and the most life changing event I have ever experienced. I will tell you more about this very special place, in another e-mail. We bathed, and loved on 77, very scabies ridden kids. Almost all, a product of rape, or sexual molestaion, mostly because of the out of control crack problem down there. These addict parents either sell their kids for sex, or if they can't come up with the crack money, they are raped, and usually the kids are too. We are going back down there in a month, and I am personally commited to making a change at this place.
Stay tuned..... I love you guys for your support, and on a much lighter note, hope you all are making the most of your summer. Remember, we are all so fortunate! Love,
Dr.Lu

Hello! I can't tell you how happy I am, that the Rape Kit episode was received so well by you all. Besides Wednesday Night Fever (the episode where my character covers 24 hours) it was the highest rated episode ever. It is the single episode I am MOST proud of. Between the research, and material I was given I became physically and emotionally ill during filming. The next two episodes the producers, cast and crew are proud of as well. I look forward to you seeing them. We start filming new episodes in early May for a July(?) airing of season 3!!!
I'd like to take this opportunity to address one more thing. As far as my website, or any personal publicity goes, I think being a sexy (with or without cleavage), confident, independent, versatile woman is a GOOD thing. I pride myself on being a bit of a Rennisance woman defined by many roles, many "images", not one.

I will be checking in again soon, and as always I am GRATEFUL for the outpour of support and kindness you all continually show the show and myself.
Love,
rosa

Rosa returns!
Hi everyone! I am only only about a week and some change away from going back to work, after a long hiatus to start shooting SEASON THREE!!! I am really excited, (we have been off since Nov. 1st, twice as long as normal because we pretty much shot 2 seasons straight through, due to the threat of a strike that didn't happen) But it's back to work on May 8th and lots of GOOD surprises and EXCITING changes for all of us to look forward to! I found out from the message boards that the third season premieres July 21st? You guys keep me informed! Thanks!
Thank you also for your encouragement about the Alma awards. I am excited to be a presenter, as well as a nominee. I ran into Lisa Vidal this week, and suggested we present together to eliminate the rumor that we are in fact the same person. She got a good laugh at that one! I am friendly with her and Nancy and they are both really great, really cool women. I am just honored to be in the same category with Rita Moreno! The same sentence even! The actual award show is June 1st, but I think it is televised later in the month on ABC. I could be wrong, but I doubt it is live.

About Janines departure? I guess you'll have to tune in and see...

My sister Tasha and I will also be feature in Rosie o'Donnells magazine Rosie, the June issue. That was fun!
Well, I am looking forward to the new season, and new updates to give you all! Take Care!
Love, rosa

P.S. Just because I haven't posted in a bit, doesn't mean I haven't been reading yours! Thanks for caring! You guys ROCK!

Greetings from the depths of season THREE!
Hi everyone! Tomorrow we already start shooting episode 4 of the third season (begining to air July 21st...info I found out from you guys!). I'll be honest, 44 episodes into a show, I was a little nervous about the quality of storylines, and plots, etc. I am so proud to tell you that the writers never cease to AMAZE me! I can't believe how creative, exciting, and original the scripts continue to be!!! It's not too long before you see for yourself! Jaws will drop.
I am as always, grateful to read the response from you all, on these boards, and the fan mail I receive. I read every word, (although I won't be winning any awards for my response time). Some people write about really personal problems, or traumas and they ask specific question as to who they should tell, or what to do? They want my opinion. I can't think of a greater resource of information and support right at our fingertips, than here at Lifetimetv.com. I am also a HUGE believer in therapy. I almost think therapy (group or individual) should be required by law, but that's just my opinion.

Anyway, as always I promise to check in, and I hope you all have a wonderful, empowering, growing, learning, and safe summer!
Love,
rosa

Will the REAL Rosa Blasi please stand up?
Okay, nothing is funnier (and somewhat scarrier) than catching up on these past 100 posts and watching this...this...caper unfold before my very eyes. So... IF THIS EXACT SCREEN NAME DOESN"T SHOW UP IT'S NOT ME. There. Problem solved. I have no other screen names. End of mystery. And thanks to our Lifetime on-line support system for stepping up, taking charge, and verifying info. Right on!
We are shooting episode 8 right now. With Patricia Richardson (Janines replacement, and commonly known as the mom from TV's Home Improvement) WHO IS AWESOME!!! For those of you who don't know, not only is she a TREMENDOUSLY TALENTED actress...but possibly one of the coolest people I have ever worked with). I LOOOOOVE her, and there isn't enough space here to tell you why. Plus my fingers would get a cramp.
I am going to New York next week to shoot "The View". I shoot it on August 1st, but I think it airs August 2nd Friday. I'm not sure. People magazine was also kind enough to do a feature on me in this weeks issue, with a funny (and true) quote in there from Tammy Ader, one of the executive producers. Otherwise, I am just here at the hospital shooting EVERY day of the work week. And looking forward to the episode airing this week (episode #2), which I personally think is even better than the season premiere. The subject matter is freaky, interesting, and good.

Anyway, as always, I am grateful for your support, interest, Project Rosa-ness, and general outpour from all of you. Have a safe rest of the summer! and we'll post soon.
Love,
rosa

You are right. I did miss the point.
Let me clear up some things.
I have NEVER e-mailed anyone personally. This format, and posts to the group are the only CONTACT I have ever made.
I do NOT know who that person is claiming to know me. Or be me.
I do wish this guy(?) would be investigated and removed from the message boards. Then promptly get a hobby as previously suggested.
I hope this serves as a warning in some way. God forbid this person potentially lured people to meet "me" only to find some strange person waiting there for them. BE CAREFUL of people on the net getting personal.
Good work making a wrong right!

hello everyone!
Unfortunately they have been airing some re-runs, but WE are busy making new episodes, and you can always check this website for episode airing details of course! (we are about to film episode 15 if you can believe that! Did you know it takes seven, 12+ hours a day to film ONE 44 minute episode of SM?)

I have no idea about me starring in the Fast and the Furious 2, and honestly I didn't even see the first one, or hear they were doing a second. But I love the rumor, it cracks me up. I tell ya, I learn more from reading your posts every time!

Although I normally don't give an individual "shout out", I have to say, I am really impressed with Charlies' website. WoW! There are pictures on there I have never seen, and didn't know were even taken. I appreciate the time and energy it must have taken you.
I hope everyone is safe, and doing well, and you will hear back from me soon!

Hello everyone!
And a very Happy New Year.

We finished filming (our 66th!) episode, and last show of the 3rd season on Dec. 16th. We return to begin filming 4th season April sometime. As far as giving away our season finale? You’re nuts! I wouldn’t dare. And I TRULY have no idea what in the world will happen next season because I can never get anything out of the writers.

Sooooo, Thank you for all my nice birthday messages! Your attention does not go unnoticed, and it appreciated. I had a quiet Christmas in Chicago with my family, and a Dick Clark New Years in Indiana with my boyfriend.

I wish everyone safety and health and their best year yet! Enjoy the rest of the new episodes, as I have a sneaking suspicion you will!!!!!!!
Love,
rosa

An interesting message from Dr......... Lu to you!
HELLO!

I am going to be at one of those giant Lifetime booth-extravaganzas on Sunday March 9, at Long Islands’ Roosevelt Field Mall in the afternoon. I will be answering questions, meeting fans, and signing pictures. So if any of you are on the East coast...
I am enjoying my time off( sorry but true : ) Rosablasi.com has been updated a little, I have some publicity photo shoots coming up, and an appearance on Pyramid March 17, with one of my best friends Kristin Datillo from the Chris Iasack show (if that’s how you spell his last name even). Otherwise, I am planning a wedding for mid February in Maui.
Yep! You are the first (besides some family, close friends, and of course the Strong Medicine family) to hear. I figured, before it came out in some other press, my loyal fans deserved to hear the good news.

I will update you as always as life unfolds....

Love,
rosa

PS. I am getting older-foggy-memory-syndrome, but did I ever acknowledge to you how AWESOME and breathtaking that pink album you collaborated for my birthday? I received it after I returned to Los Angeles (I was out of the state in Indiana at the time and I just wanted to make sure you all know, I KNOW how much effort goes into something like that.

Rosa checking in!
Hello! I have not been as excited for an episode to air since second season episode 19 Rape Kit. Nor have I worked so hard on an episode since. But in less than a week if you can believe it 4th season airs as you know!
I am at work, and we are working on our 6th episode already. Phil Casnoff is directing the next one by the way! I just had to pick up the script and check actually. Cranking out 22 a season gets confusing and tends to be a big blur.

I am obviously busy working Monday-Friday. Yesterday, Jim, my fiance' and I worked at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids carnival benefit. I actually met a woman, Melissa, a fan of SM, who had received a blood transfusion when she was only 7 DAYS old. She has been living with HIV since. It's been 21 years and she is the longest living with the disease on record. I was floored.

In honor of the 4th season premiere and you guys being such great fans, I would love to answer a few questions you may have for me, info that you can not find on the internet. (In other words "what other shows have you done?" can be found on the internet.) I will read them and post after the Sunday show airs. Either Sunday or Monday. In the past as I have read all your posts a question here or there may pop out at me but it would be weird to answer one random question so here is my solution. I warn you, I know NOTHING about episodes we haven't shot yet. Tammy keeps the stories lines and what is going to happen so secret you wouldn't believe!

Looking forward to "talking" to you!
Love and gratitude,
Rosa

Rosa Q & A
Okay here goes!
How long SM will last? Good question! We have to see how this season goes but you truly never know! I have signed on for 6 years total(2 more) but that doesn't mean the show may necessarily last 6 seasons. It is a total time gamble and I am merely a pawn in the mix. I don't even know what countries we are in unless I see it on the fan mail envelopes! My getting married will not interfere with the show at all. Plus it will be in the off season in February.

What is the most important thing to me? Easy! My family. and I include Jim in that of course. I have been REALLY blessed by having two great parents I am insanely close with. They are still married and living in the same house I was raised in since I was under a year old! The older I get the more and more I appreciate all they have done for me and how I was raised. I can only HOPE I do half as good with my own children someday (2 preferably). Jim was "worth the wait" I actually made a list of all the important qualities I wanted in my future husband. I had this list in my day planner for years, and kept adding to it. When I met him I gave him the list. He had every quality on it except one. He wasn't "over 30" my sister Tasha saw the list and added that one! Before him I was the queen of dating guys for their potential! Now I am an advocate for DATING GUYS YOU DONT HAVE TO CHANGE WHO DESERVE YOU! One of my favorite things to hear about Jim is that he "is a good guy" who has "warm eyes". His parents have also been married over 30 years. He too, is very close with his family and sister and I think that says a ton about a person and who they are.

My pet peeve in any shape or form or hint is DISHONESTY. I have ended several friendships and relationships because some people have a problem with being honest. It is something I can not understand or fathom, like racism. I just don't understand the concept and it infuriates me. I on the other hand could learn to keep my mouth shut, but I appreciate and respect the truth over the "what you want to hear" any day of the week. I value honesty above all.

My dream is to do feature films. This may suprise you but I tend to lean towards comedy. And if I could do a musical and incorporate my singing roots? even cooler! I LOVE when there is a little hint of something funny in the SM scripts and directed a sketch comedy group last year that performed in an L.A. theatre and I just miss it. The ultimate goal is to have choices. A luxury very few actors have of course, but that is my goal. To decide on scripts that are offered to me. Even typing that last sentence was a dream! ahhhh!

Funny SM moments...remember the blonde girl that played the weird cult girl last season who was accused of murdering her last baby and was pregnant again (and in jail)and I delivered her baby and they wanted to take it away for fear that she would kill it? The actresses name is Kristin Datillo and she is a regular on the Chris Issack show and she is one of my best friends in real life. She was on Hitz with me back in 97' as well. Anyway I love Kris and her having to play a very religious culty freak had us in tears of laughter most of the episode. I had to pretend I was looking in her eyes and staring at the middle of her forhead so I wouldn't laugh. During the birthing scene (just because I could) I taped the script onto her biker shorts (that is what the actors wear when they are "giving birth" on the show under their hospital gowns for modesty) and I put the script proped up right where it would embarrass her the mostand no one else would see it but me. And of course where I had to look during the scene. Use your imagination. If she wasn't such a close friend this would never have happened but we had a good laugh.
Another lighter note about being on the set are the ridiculous post it notes Josh Cox leaves around to make me laugh.

*********************************************************

June 15, 2003

Continued....
Becuase we are in an enviorment all the time together we keep it light, we are all very close crew and cast and we try and make each other laugh or smile unless the scence call for respecting the fact that one actor may have to cry or do something difficult.

I hope I have given you all a small glimpse into things, and I hope you enjoy what unfolds this 4th season! Once again, I am grateful for your devotion and I appreciate your fandomship. Yes, I just invented that word.

I look forward to "talking" to you soon, (and I mean it, because you know how much I distain untruth!;)
Love,
Rosa

November 12, 2003

Hello! From the almost last day of season 4!!!
Tomorrow we finish shooting our 88th episode and the end of season FOUR! I can hardly believe that as I write that sentence. It has been a good year, with really solid #1 ratings to boots! Thanks to all of you of course.
We have had the great delight of working with Grant Show in the final 3 episodes of this season. Most of you may remember him from his role as “Jake” on Melrose Place. He is a great and funny guy who I am sure you will love as an addition to our cast. As far as who long? Who knows! We haven’t even been officially told if we will have a next season or not yet, and apparently we may not even know until NEXT YEAR! ughh the suspense! So we finish, and we wait, and hope for the best.

I am busy flying EVERY weekend to New Jersey to be with Jim, and watch the Giants play. However, next week I am actually going to be living out there until the end of football season whenever that is. January? It will be a nice break from the weekly plane rides to say the least. Also, of course continuing to plan the wedding that will take place in February.

By the way, I think the DVD idea is a really great one! Add my name to that list!

I hope you all are enjoying what the cast crew and producers of SM have been doing this year, and that the finale is just as intriguing! Again, thank you for your unbelievable support and “fandom” (new word....just invented)
Have a really great and SAFE Holiday Season!

Love,
Rosa

March 1, 2004

Greetings and update from Rosa!
Hello everyone!!! I realize my screen name is slightly different, please bear with me...it seems I have tricked myself into forgetting my own password! I tried every combination I could think of and failed miserably.

Anyway, I am writing you from Japan. I am here in Tokyo, shooting a movie called "The Grudge". I literally left Maui the Wednesday after my wedding, and Jim and I came straight here. He left after about a week to tend to our dogs and I am here until March 5th. I am really excited to be doing this project. It is a horror/drama film that was successful here in Japan. They decided to re-make it, and release it in American using the same director and location but an American cast. Bill Pullman plays my husband, and the film also stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jason Behr, and Clea Duvall. The cast couldn't be nicer if they tried. I am so lucky to be working with such a great group and soooooo cool to hang with. The film will be released around Halloween time (I think).

Speaking of coming straight from the wedding, thank you for all your kind messages on this board. It was such a great time in Maui!!! I am still high off the memories (despite the fact that I went to see the Doctors on my wedding morning to make sure I didn't have Streph throat...nice huh?) Patricia Richardson, Josh Cox, Jenifer Lewis all made the trip to Hawaii! As well as Tammy Ader (exec. producer),John Flynn (director/producer) Joe DeOliveria (producer), Jim Weiss, costumers, hairdressers, and makeup artists! It was a strong, "strong medicine" turnout. It was really funny to look around and see the creative side (my friends)meets the sports world (Jims friends).

We go back to work mid April with many MANY suprises ahead. Such suprises in fact, that I really don't know what they are! You would be amazed how little I know. Is that a redundant statement or what?!? Well, I hope you feel updated and I look forward to having more new for you another time. Konichiwa!!!!

Love,
Rosa

In memory of Richard Biggs
It is a very somber day here on the set of Strong Medicine. I can't believe you all have heard so fast! You are all amazing.
I am asking that everyone take a moment to send positive energy (or prayer if you are religious), to Richards children (boys ages 2 and 4), and his wife. We do not know many details but know it was sudden, unexpected and most likely a random sudden heart attack.
He couldn't have been in better shape or health, and we all just worked with him on Thursday. Whenever there are several cast members in a scene together, it's non stop talk and laughter. I always feel sorry for the director because we can't shut up. Last Thursday was no different. Laughter, talk of everything from heart attacks (how ironic is that?!?), to politics (Pat, Richard and I are all huge Kerry supporters), to even what we speculate happens in prison. Richard was a SWEETHEART of a man, very educated, and very talented and professional. He also had that rich amazing voice like a radio announcer I always thought.

Just make sure you give someone you love an extra hug because we always hear it, but it is easy to forget..
YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE THE LAST TIME YOU SHARE WITH SOMEOME.
Love,
Rosa

100 episodes!!!!!!!!!!
We cut the cake today on set and had a celebration for reaching our 100 episodes this afternoon. There were toasts, champagne, Lifetime executives, Sony execs, Whoopi called in on speaker phone, and our gift from Lifetime President Carole Black was her announcement :

WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A SEASON 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was so cool, and I feel tremendously proud of the show. Not to mention the 100th episode is going to be GREAT. Guest stars Cameryn Manheim, Sara Gilbert, and Fran Drescher make for a really special show.

Thanks to you all again for your support and communtiy, and for letting me know, usually, when I am going to be on TV or there is an article about me somewhere. I swear this is like the information booth these boards!
Take care and "talk to you soon"
Love,
Rosa

The following are from the Rosa Blasi Fans II...we filled up the 1st board!

November 4, 2004

Update!!!
Hello! So much is going on I just knew I had to fill you in. I have just a few days left of filming this season, and we are working on a spin-off of Strong Medicine. It is being filmed as a pilot (meaning Lifetime is going to decide to turn this episode into a separate show based on the "pilot" episode). It is a G-R-E-A-T script, based around two lead characters Nichole Hiltz and Lauren Velez, and one of the hottest guys walking Michael Trucco. You can always go to www.imdb.com to see where you may recognize these actors from. But I know you are going to love and embrace them. Fans of Strong Medicine are going to LOVE Strong Medicine:First Response (the tentative spin-off title) It is exciting to think of the potential of this ya know?

What else? I am extremely proud that the Grudge has been the number one movie in the US for the past two weeks! It cost like million to make, and has made million in ticket sales. I will be even more excited to see the DVD when it comes out for two words..."deleted scenes" THAT is where I will really be able to see my performance..ha ha ha!

On a completely different note, I am devastated about the results of the Presidential election. I feel alot of people voted irresponsibly, without KNOWING and RESEARCHING the issues each candidate represents. I need to just take some deep breaths about that situation...inhale...exhale...repeat! OY!

I felt like some of you may have gotten insight as to our world here on the set , through the eyes of Charlie visiting. That was neat. Very cool. It was a wonderful reminder of the support this show has. Like she was a Lifetimetv.com ambassador or something!

Just briefly, I want you to know I read every piece of mail myself, and respond, myself. No one else does this for me. Hell, I even planned my own wedding! I am pretty hands on. But, that is also the reason sometimes the response time is very long. The last batch of mail I answered, I was embarrassed by some of the post mark dates. Sorry!

Well, until I have some more news to report, or another project on my hiatus coming up, I will "see" you in April when I start shooting season SIX! Ahhhhhhhh! For now I have to go live with my husband :)
Have a safe and happy holiday season, and thanks for being so great. Really.
Love,
Rosa

THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY BOOK!
As some of you may know, I do receive, and personally read, all my mail...but, I get it sporratically. Having been living on the East coast from Nov-Jan and just getting settled back on the West coast, I finally received a bunch of mail. In that, was the Birthday Book, and I was completely blown away! I appreciate the time and effort that went into coordinating that, and I have to say I was impressed at how proffesional and creative it was done! Thank you so much. I mean it.

I hope you all enjoyed the cliff-hanger season finale! It was so hard to film that last scene with Pat because we all are going to miss her so much. It wasn't "acting", it was so much more, and we all felt it that day. Okay, Wow... I just read what I wrote and it reads very cheesy, but the meaning is there nonetheless :)

We go back to work on the sixth season in April, with who replacing Pat? I haven't a clue. Not even one!
Take care, and again thanks so much,
Love,
Rosa

PS...I found the "Rosa has the right to show cleavage debate" awesomely amusing! We must remember as strong women, to support other strong women. Unfortunately, women are usually the first, to tear down other women. You are not always going to agree with everything people do, say, believe in, or feel. But I urge you to look at the big picture. In everyone. And on another ironic note, as long as I am on the soap box...why is it the hypo-Christians seem to be the most judgemental?
I am pretty sure religion, whatever you believe, is based on love.

Hello from Rosa!
So if we can't gossip about other members....
can we gossip about Paris Hilton??? Just curious. Just kidding. Kinda.

Hello! How are you all? I can't believe we have been a month of shooting the 6th season already! We are on episode 4, and Rick Schroder is seriously one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Painfully, painfully, kind. Everybody on set loves him (and he has four GORGEOUS kids, not to mention an even sweeter beautiful wife by the way)
So it's been good so far.
I embarrassingly confessed to Rick I used to be enamored with him when I was 10, and I watched every episode of Silver Spoons. In case you thought I might be cool at all, I am about to erase that image... My sister Tasha and I used to actually KISS THE TV when he came on the opening credits! Yes, lips on glass, trying not to get electrocuted in the process. Please again, remember I was TEN, people!

The highlight of shooting this season so far, has been lying on the ground of the rat infested alley to shoot the "getting shot" scene. Oh yeah, the intoxicating urine smell floated around us all, and a GINOURMOUS RAT ran across our feet where we were all sitting! My makeup artist Bridgette screamed bloody murder, and dropped her big box of makeup (that she carries around to make me look "natural"... ha!!!) and it was quite a night. I got home when the sun rose. I highly recommend the experience. Again, kidding.

What else? To answer the abundance of questions and rumors about "is this the last year???" The answer is "I don't know." All I know, is MY contract is finished in November. I am not psychic, I have no idea if this is the last year of the show, and if it is not, I can't say if I will, or will not be there next year. We all just have to wait and see

I hope you enjoy the premiere episode on the 12th of June! and I think you will really enjoy the new dynamic of what Rick adds to the show. As well as some twists, turns, and Nestor Carbonell...also painfully SWEET!
Hope you all have a safe Memorial Day!
Much love and appreciation,
Rosa

MESSAGE FROM ROSA
Hello all! I promise to post again soon, before we wrap for the season (we finish filming Nov. 10th). No one still has any clue if there is going to be a next year or not, by the way. This business is just kind of like that. I once heard on an interview, that Christina Applegate found out "Married With Children" was cancelled via the radio! And that was after 9 years!!!

The reason I am writing is because it has come to my attention, disturbingly, that someone has created a BOGUS Rosa Blasi fan site at myspace.com PRETENDING TO BE ME!

I do not endorse, nor know who is responsible for this site. But it certainly has nothing to do with me. Those aren't my quotes, opinions, or even my favorite books (I have never even heard of them!) It is all bogus. Just wanted you to know. I am flattered that anyone would start a fan site, but I am offended when they try and fool the public into saying they are me. So ridiculous.

Also, as long as I am posting, I should clear up something else... I am about as pregnant as Rick Schroder.

I look forward to being pregnant, my life would feel incomplete without children, but right now it is just a rather uncomfortable "pregnancy pad". When it gets hot, we put an ice pack inside it :)

Love you guys, and we will "talk" soon!
Rosa

October 28, 2005

Greetings from Rosa :)
Remember my post about Cristina Applegate finding out "Married With Children" was cancelled (after putting FOX television on the map, and working 10 seasons) by hearing it on the RADIO??? Hmmm....smells familiar huh?

I found out, hours before it went to press today. Unfortunately, the crew who has worked here for 6 years found out the same way everyone else did. By reading it. THAT is what sucks.

But to be honest, I was not under contract after this year, and was very much looking forward to the "what's next?" stage in my career. It's just time for me. I was hoping the series would be picked up, and I would have LOVED to have guest starred next season, but it is all good. I am really excited to do other projects and I celebrate these years on the show. The show was amazing, the enviorment on set, the people, births, marriages, friendships, even death. We will always be a special family. And people felt it too! Guest stars, or people who would work only one day would comment "what a warm and great set it was."

I heard a great rumor just yesterday as well! Supposedly, they are working on releasing a DVD of the different seasons. I know it is not "confirmed", but I hope it happens before my parents get buried under a mountain of VHS tapes.

I won't leave you hanging, before the season finale airs, I will direct you to where to find my updates etc. on what is going on. Try and have a good day! I am. I even baked the crew "chocolate-chip-banana-cancelled-muffins :)

Love,

Rosa
